Norwich Cathedral’s Hostry Gallery

Completely reconfigured for its outing at the beautiful Hostry Gallery, Norwich Cathedral, Photographs from Another Place explores more closely the Norfolk connections including Alice’s birthplace of Wortwell. Thematically curated in sequences, the framed works float off the walls round the edge suspended from wire, creating a pleasing effect.
On Saturday 5th November at the public view, George Szirtes read from the collaborative text that accompanies the images in the book of the project, and third generation distant cousins from the Gearing and Gower families met for the very first time in Norwich (see news item link).
